Bendzuna’s Auto Glass performs auto and truck glass installation and windshield replacement for nearly 700 makes and models. All car glass installed in a vehicle must pass federal safety regulations and all installations within the United States and are monitored by the Bureau of Automotive Repairs. Bendzuna’s Auto Glass takes seriously all safety requirements and uses premium products for auto glass replacements and windshield repairs, including one half hour safe drive away urethanes.

Vehicle manufacturers design vehicles, but select vendors do supply their assembly plants with the auto glass parts necessary to construct their vehicles. The vendors the manufacturers select are OE or Original Equipment producers. Once the auto glass part is manufactured, it becomes part of the finished product distributed by the vehicle manufacturer. This is true of windshields, side glass, doors, vents, back glass and quarter glass.

Some OE manufacturers of auto glass and windshields not only make OE parts for the specific manufacturer but also produce car glass parts for the aftermarket installations on other brands of vehicles. As an example, an OE manufacturer of Ford Motor Company may also produce windshields to be replaced in GM vehicles. These are considered OEM or Original Equipment Manufacturers. They have quality control in place to ensure a well-fitting part and are considered of the highest quality.

Auto glass manufactured strictly for Aftermarket Replacement Glass is called ARG. These manufacturers produce vehicle glass using reverse manufacturing.

The safety built into the auto glass is controlled by the federal government and no glass company can produce auto or truck glass that doesn’t meet those strict guidelines. So, OE, OEM and ARG all are equally regulated by federal safety standards.
